We’re looking for speakers on our Making Data Meaningful panels at our DISCOs in London, Manchester and Birmingham, taking place in Autumn 2026.

DISCO events are built around the day-to-day realities of schools using data well, particularly for leaders and teachers interested in meaningful, manageable approaches to assessment. Our focus is not on theory in isolation, but on how data supports better conversations, sharper teaching, and improved outcomes for pupils. We’re looking for sessions that are practical, honest, and rooted in what actually works in schools, whether that’s a refined approach to tracking, a curriculum-linked assessment model, or a thoughtful rethink of how data is used across a trust.

Previous speakers have included school and trust leaders demonstrating how they’ve embedded Insight Tracking to reduce workload and improve clarity, alongside practitioners sharing subject-specific assessment approaches, reporting strategies, and ways to engage staff with data.

We welcome proposals from anyone with something useful to share, whether you’re leading a MAT-wide approach, refining practice in a single school, or exploring a specific challenge in depth. Tell us what you’ve done, what you’ve learned, and what others can take away and apply.

Speakers can have reasonable expenses covered and are entitled to one free ticket for a guest. Refreshments throughout the day and lunch are provided.

If your work helps schools use data more thoughtfully and effectively, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact us using the form below.
