Our latest Data In Schools Conference – our Data DISCO – took place on Friday 10th October 2025 in London, as we returned to the capital following our sold out DISCO in 2023. Featuring more speakers than ever before, we welcomed well over 100 attendees to Brentford Football Club’s GTech Stadium for a day packed with insights and discussion about the evolving school data landscape.
Daisy Christodoulou explored whether feedback can improve writing, and whetehr AI can support in this process. Karen Wespieser of Teacher Tapp looked at data on Staff Morale, and how to monitor it, maintain it and improve it. Lauren Meadows, Katie Screaton, Ella Martin took part in a panel discussing Making Data Meaningful in schools, sharing their experiences in developing the use of data in different contexts.
Joshua Perry (SmartGrade and Carousel) discussed using AI to support school data, and Insight team members James Pembroke (Director of Strategy) and Richard Selfridge (Education Data Consultant) looked at what we’d learned about student data and lessons for the future from the experience of the last decade.
This was the first DISCO of the 2025-26 academic year, and will be followed by events in the North West and Birmingham – do share those dates with any colleagues who might want to attend either conference.
We’ll be planning next year’s events soon, so do let us know if you’d like a DISCO near you, and if there are any topics you’d like us to explore in future. Thank you for coming and for making the day such a success!
