DISCO London 25 Recap
DISCO London, held on 10th October 2025, was our first event of the 2025-26 academic year, and the ninth since DISCOs began in Autumn 2023. Our Data DISCOs (Data In Schools Conferences) are now established as England’s premier conference on the use of data in schools.
Our London event saw a wider variety of sessions than ever before, with key notes, a Making Data Meaningful panel, as well as extened Q&As and more time for attendees to discuss ideas between sessions.
DISCO West Recap
DISCO West, held in Cheltenham on 7th February 2025, was our first event this year, and the seventh since we started running them in Autumn 2023. DISCO (Data In Schools Conference) was conceived as an opportunity to review and discuss the use of assessment and data in schools in the decade since Levels were removed from the national curriculum.
Our Cheltenham event was packed with insight from a range of experts.
DISCO South Recap
DISCO South attracted attendees from all over the south, with delegates from London, Cornwall and Kent and all places in between. As ever, the day was packed with insights from a wide range of experts. Our guest speaker, Michael Tidd (Headteacher at East Preston Junior School, a few miles along the coast from Southampton) brought a school’s perspective to student data, with a session looking at keeping tracking of what we value.
DISCO North Recap
Our latest Data In Schools Conference – our Data DISCO – took place on Friday 21st March 2025 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, marking the furthest north DISCO has reached since we launched our regular series of Data Conferences in 2023.
Our guest speaker in Newcastle, Rob Coe (Director of Research and Development at Evidence Based Education) explored the quality of commercial assessments looked at how leaders can judge whether an assessment is fit for purpose.
